1. Items in the webshop
In this webshop you can buy Ecouture's own designs and products from other manufacturers, which will appear on the individual product page. You can read more about Ecouture's ethical guidelines regarding environmental and social responsibility in our CSR profile.
2nd price
The total price quoted at the time of purchase is all inclusive, including delivery costs (freight) and 25% VAT in Denmark - as stated in the order confirmation you receive upon purchase. If you reside in a country outside the EU, special rules for VAT and customs apply, see section 11. The currency of the prices is DKK.
3. Payment
Payment is made by credit card or Mobile Pay when ordering. The amount will be deducted when the order is packed and shipped from our warehouse, unless it is a pre-order (see point 5). We strive to ship all items within 48 hours. We ship out Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
4. Shipping
All items are shipped with GLS to the address you provided when ordering - or to your nearest parcel shop. If you live in Denmark, we will send your order with free shipping to a parcel shop if you have ordered for more than DKK 1500. For purchases under DKK 1500, you pay the shipping costs yourself, delivered with GLS. We deliver at fixed shipping prices.
When your package is shipped from us, you will receive an email with your tracking number so you can track your package. Orders to Denmark are delivered within 1-3 business days after the order is placed. Please note that there are different delivery times for pre-orders. See point 5.
NOTE: If you have paid for shipping on delivery of your order, shipping will not be refunded upon return. The shipping will be deducted from the purchase amount.
5. Pre-booking
We continuously design new styles that can be pre-ordered before they go into production. By pre-ordering you are sure to get a design in the right size/color. At the same time, you help us avoid overproduction, which we reward with a discount on the item. Pure win-win. Remember that pre-orders must be placed on a separate order. The money will be deducted from your account as soon as the fabric for the design is ordered and your order is put into production, but as always, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order (see point 6). Read more about pre-orders here. A pre-order is usually delivered within 3-4 months. However, we can never promise an exact delivery time. We will send you updates to your email address if relevant information about your pre-order arises during production. You can cancel your pre-order at any time during production.
6. Right of withdrawal
You have a 14-day right of withdrawal on all items, starting from the day you received your item. The right of withdrawal can only be exercised if the item is returned intact and does not show signs of use. If the deadline expires on a public holiday, Saturday, Constitution Day, Christmas Eve or New Year's Eve, the deadline is extended to the following weekday.
You withdraw by notifying us that you withdraw. For example, you can send an e-mail stating that you regret your decision to shop@ecouture.dk. You cannot withdraw by refusing to receive the goods or by failing to collect them without also notifying us of your withdrawal. You can use the standard legal withdrawal form, but it is not mandatory. If you do so, we will immediately acknowledge receipt of your withdrawal by email. The withdrawal period is met if you send your notice of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.
7 Return of goods and return costs
Returns must be sent or delivered to: Ecouture, Gråbrødretorv 7, 1154 Copenhagen K - Denmark.
If you have regretted the purchase of an item, you must send or return the item to us without undue delay and no later than 14 days after you have informed us that you wish to cancel your purchase. The deadline is met if you return the goods within the 14 days. (You are responsible for the costs of returning the goods)
Items cannot be sent cash on delivery or without delivery.
If you want to return an item with GLS and live in Denmark, you can send us an email and ask for a link to our returns portal. In the return portal you can create a GLS return label with tracking number, which you can attach to the outside of your return package. Our return label costs DKK 39 and will be deducted from the purchase amount upon return.
Please note that a return fee of 39 kr will be deducted, which covers the return shipping for your return label. If you only want to exchange for a different size or gift card, we will pay the return shipping as well as the shipping cost to you again.
We recommend that you use our returns portal to get a GLS return label with Track and Trace. You must print your return label yourself and attach it to the outside of your return package.
If you choose a delivery method other than the above, you are responsible for insurance and tracking of the package until we have received it by delivery.
Please return the item to the above address in packaging that protects the item from moisture. You must include a note stating whether you want a refund or an exchange for a different size. We want to improve all the time, so you are welcome to write why you are returning the item. You can also return the item directly to Ecouture's showroom during our opening hours.
Opening hours:
NOTE: If you have paid for shipping on delivery of your order, shipping will not be refunded upon return. The shipping will be deducted from the purchase amount.
8. Refund of the money
When you cancel your purchase, we will refund the purchase amount without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the date we received your notice of cancellation. However, we may withhold the refund until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that the goods have been returned.
We will carry out such a refund using the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless you have expressly agreed otherwise.
Note: If you have chosen to use our return portal, 39 kr will be deducted from the purchase amount upon return, which covers the return shipping for your return label.
NOTE: If you have paid for shipping on delivery of your order, shipping will not be refunded upon return. The shipping will be deducted from the purchase amount.
9. Right of complaint
If you buy a product and there is a defect in it - for example, a material or manufacturing defect - the rules of the Danish Sale of Goods Act apply.
You can complain about defects in the product within 24 months from the time of delivery by contacting us at shop@ecouture.dk. We ask you to state the problem in as much detail as possible and you are welcome to include pictures of the defect.
If the complaint is justified, we will refund your reasonable shipping costs. Remember that the item must always be sent in proper packaging and get a receipt for shipment. Save the postal receipt including information about shipping costs and any track and trace number.
10. Damage to Packaging
Damage due to faulty packaging may result in you losing your right to a refund. Ecouture recommends that the garment is returned by Post Danmark or GLS and that it is sent as a parcel delivery. This allows you to track the package and removes any doubt as to whether the garment has been delivered to Ecouture. It also allows you to search for a package if it does not reach its destination.
11. Countries outside the EU
If you live in a country outside the EU, Danish VAT will be deducted from your order when you pay for your item(s) at checkout. Your package must pass through customs and can then be picked up at the desired post office. When you pick up your package, you will be charged for customs, VAT and handling fees. The cost of these additional fees will only be calculated once the package has arrived in the destination country and therefore cannot be disclosed in advance. You should therefore be aware that your package will be more expensive than the price you are charged on our website, as the package must be sent to a country outside the EU.
If you live in Norway, you can read more about customs, returns and exchanges here: http://www.toll.no/no/.
12. Information on how to complain
If you want to complain about an item purchased from us, you are always welcome to contact us at: shop@ecouture.dk. We want to improve all the time, so feel free to write why you are complaining about the product. Then we'll see if we can find a solution for you together.
In addition, as a consumer you have the opportunity to contact/submit a complaint to the Center for Complaint Resolution at the Danish Competition and Consumer Authority, Carl Jacobsens Vej 35, 2500 Valby. You can complain to the Complaints Resolution Center via www.forbrug.dk. The European Commission's online complaint portal can also be used when filing a complaint. This is particularly relevant if you are a consumer residing in another EU country. The complaint is filed here: http://ec.europa.eu/odr.
13. Errors on the website
We make no guarantee that the information on our website is error-free. Prices may be subject to typing errors. Reservations are therefore made for errors, typing errors of prices on the webshop, sold-out items, delivery failures and extended delivery time of goods. We reserve the right to change prices without notice.
