Here's how you do it:

Storage and shelf life

It is best to store the products in a dry place, away from direct sunlight. Gitti also recommends not leaving the bottles open longer than necessary.

The products have a shelf life of 12 months after opening and 30 months unopened.

To prolong shelf life, the product should always be stored tightly closed, in a dry place and protected from direct sunlight and heat.

Disposal

To recycle the packaging correctly, we recommend the following:

1. Empty the bottle of residue.

2. The lid with brush can be disposed of with normal household waste.

3. The empty glass bottle can be returned in the glass container for recycling.

Gitti goes beyond EU cosmetics regulation and avoids 23 potentially harmful ingredients that are still used in many conventional nail polishes. Here are some examples:

  → Potentially endocrine disrupting and harmful to health.

• Colophonium (raisin)
  → Known to cause allergic reactions and is prohibited in certain other product types.

• EDTA and derivatives
  → Risk of allergy and negative environmental impact.

• Ethyl tosylamide (sulfonamide)
  → Associated with antibiotic resistance and potential endocrine disrupting properties.

• Benzophenone-1 and -3
  → Suspected endocrine disruptor and long-term health effects.

• Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE)
  → Suspected skin irritation and unwanted by-products.
