Washing

Shrinkage approx. 2%. The print withstands ironing well. If you want to take good care of your dress, wash it gently by hand at 30°, but do NOT leave it to soak as you risk discoloration. Twist the ruffle vertically. Then let the dress drip dry, possibly upside down to protect the white checks. This way you'll protect the print and keep your dress for a very long time. NOTE! Wash less in general - sometimes it's a good idea to air the clothes and not wash them or just wash them under your arms. This will also save you a lot of ironing;)

You can also choose to order sleeve sheets here to protect your clothes from underarm sweat and avoid sweat stains. You can wash them separately, and that way the dress wash can be delayed a little longer...

Print

Ecouture often uses prints on the clothes, and everything is printed in our studio in Copenhagen. Therefore, the print is never 100% identical to what you see in the pictures on the webshop. We think the charm of hand-printing is that each garment is unique, unlike machine-printed garments. The print withstands heat well and can be ironed an extra time before the first wash.
