Most women have several black dresses in their wardrobe. This is probably because a black dress makes you feel good and gives you space to focus on your work or other important tasks. However, many black dresses look the same, but that's not the case at Ecouture. Iconic black dresses

When we talk about iconic black dresses, we can't go past Audrey Hepburn's stunning black dress from Breakfast at Tiffany's. The image of Hepburn in that elegant black designer dress - cigarette pipe in hand, tiara in her hair and diamonds around her neck - will be the first thing that pops into most people's minds when they think of a black dress. Another iconic black dress is the one Michelle Obama chose to wear for her first portrait as first lady in 2009. An excellent dress choice for one of America's most powerful, confident and stylish women. Last but not least, two dresses from Ecouture deserve a special mention. These are our two classics, the Jeanett dress and the Siak dress, which have been worn by Iceland's super cool, green, feminist Prime Minister Katrín Jakobsdóttir to two very big events. The former she wore to her inauguration as Prime Minister - and it made the front page of the New York Times, among others. Styling black dresses

One of the best things about a black dress is that you can style it with any color. If we were to highlight some colors that we think are particularly beautiful with black, it would be gold, red and pink. Gold could obviously be some beautiful jewelry or a pair of gold shoes.
