Details: Isolde is a very warm, elegant and functional winter coat, designed to fit close and beautifully on the body. It is sewn in a heavy organic cotton and lined with thick Thinsulate® insulation that keeps you warm down to -15°C. An elastic panel in the back gives a beautiful, feminine silhouette and prevents the "tent look". The coat closes with a zipper and tie at the front, and the sleeves and deep pockets are finished with ribbed edges. For extra visibility in the winter darkness, the coat has a reflective tape on both the pockets and the hood.

⛆ Important about water resistance: The coat is water-repellent, so you won't get wet up to your body in light rain or snow, but if the coat gets very wet, it should be hung to dry on a hanger. In heavy rain it is recommended to use a rain cover.

Material and care: The coat has a length of 107 cm from the neck down. It is made of organic cotton, lined with organic cotton and insulated with Thinsulate®. To maintain quality, it is recommended that the coat is dry cleaned.

ATTENTION! Due to the thick lining, the coat feels quite tight. You may need to go up a size. The length is 107 cm from neck to bottom hem. Below are the measurements for each size in cm.

How to read the measurement chart: The measurements in the chart are the cm measurements that the coat is sewn to in the different sizes. You probably won't fit the measurements 100% - so aim for the bust to fit you well (there should ideally be 1-3 cm extra width in the bust). In general, don't be afraid of a little extra width in the fabric of 2-5 cm - and preferably more in the hip width. But of course, there shouldn't be any measurements that you can't fit into.

Material info

Isolde is sewn in a beautiful, GOTS-certified, water-repellent organic cotton (98% organic cotton, 2% elastane) that is insulated with [Oekotex] Thinsulate®. The lining is 100% GOTS-certified organic cotton from Ecological Textiles and the ribbed edges are GOTS-certified organic cotton fromLebenskleidung.

The insulation is Thinsulate [Oekotex]. This does NOT mean that it is ecological, but we have chosen to use the material anyway because of its excellent insulation properties. You can keep warm down to -15°C with a thin layer of insulation, so the jacket has a beautiful shape. It's not very sustainable to produce a winter jacket that isn't warm. So yes! Here's a compromise where we went as far as we could in our eco-crusade. Likewise, reflective edges are conventionally produced.

Washing

The Isolde coat MUST be dry cleaned. This is because there are three different layers of material in the coat and they cannot be ironed the same way after washing, so washing it yourself will not give you a nice result.

ATTENTION! A coat should only be dry cleaned once a year! Wash less in general - sometimes it's better to air the clothes and not wash them.
